Kunjapuri Temple Trek (Sun Rise Trek/Day Trek)
Kunjapuri Temple is located 28 Kms far from Rishikesh at the altitude of 1650 meters. You will be picked up from Rishikesh by our car .The drive is approx 1 hour. The Temple is dedicated to Goddess Shakti and considered very auspicious temple in local area. From the top you can see beautiful panoramic views of Himalaya. Behind the temple you can see the mountain range of Himalaya while from the front side you can view Rishikesh and Holy River Ganga. You will trek down (Total 9 Km Trek). DAY 01: RISHIKESH – JOSHIMATH (255 KMS, 7 – 8 HRS DRIVE)
After early breakfast leave for Joshimath. Enroute stop in Devprayag to witness the confluence of river Alaknanda and Bhagirathi to form holy river Ganges. Reach Joshimath by evening. On arrival check in camp / hotel. Overnight at camp / hotel.
DAY 02: JOSHIMATH – GOVINDGHAT –PULNA -GHANGARIA (23 KMS DRIVE, 10 KM TREK)
After early breakfast leave for Govindghat by road with packed lunch. Prepare for trek on arrival and then leave on the trek to Ghangaria, which will be our base camp for further trek to Valley Of Flowers. Reach Ghangaria late in the afternoon. On arrival check in hotel.
DAY 03: GHANGARIA – VALLEY OF FLOWERS – GHANGARIA (10-12 KMS TREK)
After breakfast leave for valley of flowers (5-6 kms one side trek) with packed lunch. Enjoy the beauty of rare high Himalayan flora at its best. The valley situated on a height of 3342 mts to 3658 mts is a national park under protection for its rate fona. Return back to Ghangaria for your overnight stay.
DAY 04: GHANGARIA – HEMKUND SAHIB – GHANGARIA (12 KMS TREK BOTH SIDE)
After breakfast leave with packed lunch for Hemkund Sahib (a Sikh religious place) on the banks of Hemkund Lake at a height of 4320 mts. This trek is gradual ascent on the cobbled path from the altitude of 3049 mts to 4320 mts in just 5 kms. Return to Ghangaria by evening for overnight stay.
DAY 06: BADRINATH-JOSHIMATH:
Early morning visit temple for rituals and then have breakfast. After breakfast visit Mana village last village on Indo-Tibetan Border. Visiting Vyas cave, Gangsha Cave, Natural Bridge over Sarswati River. After visiting Mana village drive to Joshimath for 3 hours and then visit Shankaracharya cave in Joshimath: where Adi Guru Shanakracharya got enlightenment before going to Badrinath. Overnight in Joshimath.
DAY7, JOSHIMATH- RISHIKESH(255 KM-6-7 HOURS)
Early morning after breakfast leave for Rishikesh on the full Day drive. Lunch Enroute at Srinagar. Reach Rishikesh by evening. Check in hotel an dinner & Overnight stay hotel.

Day1, Delhi-Rishikesh(250km/345 meter): We will be warm welcome you at International Airport and then drive to Rishikesh for 6-7hours passing through traffic of Delhi and many small and big towns. Finally you will be arriving in Haridwar, it’s gateway of Himalayas and Land of Abode. Rishikesh is only one hour from here. Upon arrival check in hotel or guest house. Latterly visit bank of Ganges and witness holy ceremony.
Day2, Excursion in Rishikesh and Haridwar: Rishikesh is one of most holy town in India and also known as international capital of Yoga. There are many
temples and Ashrams. Most highlighting is visiting Ram Jhula, Lakshamn Jhula suspension bridges, Shivananda ashram, Ancient Bharat temple, Beetles ashram. There are so many yoga schools and centers. Most important is visiting Swami Shivananda ashram, His Samadhi temple (Memorial). Walking on silver sand of Ganges and touching holy water of Ganges. In afternoon drive for one hour to witness lamp ceremony in Haridwar. After ceremony back to Rishikesh for overnight stay.
Day3, Excursion to Jhilmil cave(1100 meter) and ancient temple of Shiva, Neelkanth Mahadev: After breakfast with packed lunch trekking for 3 hours uphill other side of river. Neelkanth is name of Lord Shiva. Most highlighting is trekking to cave in forest. This cave call Jhilmil cave as its open on top of cave so you can see light of Sun rays whole day in the cave. It’s nice to do trekking through forest and watching down valley view of Ganges. One German lady was spent long time in this cave doing meditation. After spending time and receiving energy back to Rishikesh by drive for 1 hour. After it witness lamp ceremony on the bank of Ganges in Rishikesh. Overnight in Rishikesh.
Day4, Rishikesh-Vashishta cave-Deoprayag(Drive for 3 hours/565 meter): After breakfast drive for one hour to Vashishta cave. This cave is very popular for meditation and energy seekers. Swami Purusottamanada was spent his time in this cave since 1927-1961 Until he left his material body as doing Sadhana(Meditation) in this cave. It’s also believed among these people who believe in vision Jesus was in India during his lost years. So Jesus also spent his time doing meditation in this surrounding cave. Visit cave and feel Divine energy as spending time in this surroundings and taking bath in holy water of Ganges, So bring with clothing for change and towel. After all this essence of day proceed our journey for hot lunch en route and then we arrive at Deopryag, This vary place is confluence of 2 holy rivers, so it’s very scenic place. Ganga name begins when 2 rivers join together at this place. There is ancient temple from 11th Century AD, on the rocks in background of temples is description of one pilgrims who visited this place in 1st Century AD. Overnight at hotel or guest house.
Day5, Deoprayag-Kanakchauri(Drive for 4 hours/2000 meter): After breakfast visit to confluence and old market of Deopryag as nearly 80-90 years before this place was part of Pilgrimage trail to Himalayas. So you have chance to see these remaining sign of that golden period of Pilgrimage. After small excursion to this town and then proceed to Kanakchauri passing though Alakananda Valley, hydro project lake on the way and many small villages and view of Himalayan peaks. Kanakcauri is base of Kartikswami hill top to see wide panorama of Garhwal Himalayan snow capped peaks. Overnight at bamboo hut guest house.
Day6, Kanakchauri-Kartikswami(2 hours Trekking/2700 meter)-Ukhimath: After breakfast gradually trekking for 2 hours walking through mix dense forest of Oak and Rhododendron on the top of hills known as Kartikswami as temple of Lord Murugan or Kartkeya. It’s really worth to visit this place to see wide panorama of Himalayan peaks as Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi(second highest peak of India,7816 mtr), Nanda khat, Kedarnath, Kedardome, Mandani, and many others named unnamed peaks. Its 360degree view from this top seems as on the top of world. After excursion to this marvelous place back to guest house and have hot lunch and then proceed to Ukhimath drive for 2 and half hours. Overnight at Guest House.
Day7, Ukhimath-Ransi-Kalishila(2260 Meter): After breakfast with packed lunch drive for one hour then trekking for nearly 2 hours to be arrive highly energy place of Divine Mother Durga. It’s steeper trekking to arrive this place. Kalishila mean Rock of Goddess Kali. Specialty of this place is there is naturally originated on rock face and Yoni of Mother Durga. This place is highly Divinity power place and heavenly feeling for meditation. Swami Saraswati Giri( German name Tania) is living to this place for last 18 years with her Guru. She was here age of 24 and after feeling Divinity energy of this place decides to make her Spiritual home to this place. Upon arrival you are welcome by tea and snacks. Overnight stay in tents in the surroundings of Oak and Rhododendron trees.
Day8/9/10/11 Kalishila: Spending time as visiting to rock, Guru at the place Swami Barkha Giri Ji and Swami Sarswati Giri(German Origin) if she is available but I will request her as she can meet us if she knows dates about our stay there. This place is very silent for doing meditation and making some short trekking in surroundings and lying under blue sky and feel peace for soul and mind. Please make free your soul and being spending time in lap of nature. Overnight in tents and all meals are provided from our own kitchen.
Day 12, Kalishila-Chopta(2730 meter): After breakfast and packed lunch trekking down for 2 hours and drive for 3 hours to Chopta after spending some days spending in lap of nature. This place is known as Switzerland of Garhwal Himalayas for its scenic beauty as surrounded by Oak and Rhododendron forest. Nice to see great Himalayan peaks from here. Overnight in fix tents or Guest house.
Day13, Chopta-Tungnath(3680 Meter)-Chandershila(3900Meter): After early breakfast and packed lunch trekking for 3-4 hours to highest elevated temple of Lord Shiva in India. Its gradual climbing viewing wide panorama of great Himalayas. May be you have chance to walking through snow, so we call this trek winter summit peak. It’s really great pleasure to be on the Chandershila hill top(3900 meter) to see 360 degree panoramic view of Himalayan peaks and down valley view. After visiting ancient temple at Tungnath and hill top Chandershila trekking down to Camping place for overnight stay in fix tents.
Day14, Chopta-Rishikesh: After breakfast drive for 5-6 hours to arrive back to Rishikesh. Hot lunch en route.
Day15, Day for relax and Shopping:
Day16, Drive to Delhi for 6-7 hours and back to your own destination.

On the way visiting important places as Devprayag; Holy confluence of Bhagirathi and Alakananda then it takes name as Ganges from this place. Just over confluence there is ancient temple of Lord Rama for 11th Century AD. Holy Significance of this place is as you can find description by pilgrims on rock back side of temple from 1st Century AD. After visiting temple and confluence proceed on to passing through Shrinagar capital of Garhwal until 1790 AD. Hot lunch on the way. Overnight stay in Tents at Chopta viewing Himalayan panorama.
Day2, Chopta -Tungnath (3680 Mt) – Chandrashila (3900 Mt):
After an early breakfast trek to Tungnath with packed lunch. The trek is 3.4 Km gradually zigzags well maintained pilgrims trail. Enroute you will see lush green meadows and you can see the entire range of snow capped Himalayas. Upon arrival visiting to 3rd Temple of Lord Shiva here as known as Arms of Lord Shiva are merged to this temple. After visiting to temple trek further 1.5 kms trek to Chandrasila peak (3900 meters). From the top you can see panorama for 180 degree to Himalayan peaks. Later trek back to Chopta for dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Day3, Chopta-Deorialtal(2350 mtr): After breakfast with packed Lunch trekking for 5/6 hours passing through dense forest of Rhododendron, high and low altitude Oak, Pine, Himalayan bamboo and many kind of Ferns. This is Area for Musk Deer Sanctuary known as Kedarnath wild life Sanctuary. You have chance to see wild boar, Black Beer, Barking Deer, Himalayan Red Fox, Stag Deer etc. Nice to walk through mix dense forest and overnight stay in tents the surroundings of Lake surrounded by forest and facing to Himalayan Panorama.
Day4, Deorialtal-Mastura-Kartikswami: It’s nice to view of Himalayan panorama for Chaukhamba peaks, Kedarnath, Kedar Dome, Mandani etc. After breakfast take round of lake and view reflection of Chaukhamba peak in water of Lake. Its holy lake for local village people as Cobra God was living in the water of Lake as per folk tale. There is organizing local festival every year in the month of August. You can see Golden trout fish in the water of lake. After excursion in the surroundings of lake trek down to village and visiting local architecture of houses, life style of Himalayan village people, Talking with local people, sharing tea with local family people and visiting school in the village. After this trek down for 30 minutes then proceed to Kartik swami passing through villages of Garhwal Himalayas. Overnight stay in Guest House.
Day5, Kartikswami(2800 mtr)-Rishikesh: After early wake up and tea trekking for 3 km gradually passing through dense forest to be on the top of hill. It’s temple for Lord Kartikeya. It’s nice to wide panorama of Himalayas as closest view of Nanda Devi and some more peaks from Kumaun Himalayas.
After visiting temple trekking down to guest house and have breakfast and then drive to Rishikesh for 5/6 hours. On the way visiting to Vashishta cave for Meditation. Many people who believe in vision of Jesus In India. They believe Lord Jesus also spent his time in the surroundings of this cave.
